Bürgerbuch der Verbandsgemeinde Hochspeyer 1650 - 1850

Dieses Familienbuch beinhaltet die Namen und Daten der Menschen, die zwischen 1650 und 1850 in der Ortsgemeinde Hochspeyer gelebt haben.
Das Werk basiert auf den Eintragungen der Kirchenbücher aller Konfessionen für Hochspeyer und der näheren Umgebung und den Einträgen in den Standesamtsregistern. Hinzu kommen ergänzende Nachrichten aus den Archivalien kommunaler, staatlicher und kirchlicher Archive.
Einige Beispiele sollen dies verdeutlichen:
- Der Name Bauer in Fischbach und auf dem Altenhof ist in 14 Einträgen einschließlich großer Nachkommenschaft präsent.
- Der Name Nabinger in Frankenstein ist vertreten mit 32 Familien- und Einzeleinträgen und über 120 Kindern.
- Der Name Egelhof in Hochspeyer erscheint mit 12 Familien- und über 40 Kindern und schließlich
- in Waldleiningen der Name Kullmer, der elfmal erscheint und 60 Kinder aus dieser Familie nachweist.
Die hier genannten Familien wurden willkürlich herausgegriffen. Dazu kommen Angaben über Ehepartner und ihre Herkunft, Geburts, Heirats- und Sterbedaten von Familienmitgliedern, z. T. unter Angabe der Krankheiten. In vielen Fällen werden verwandtschaftliche Beziehungen dargelegt, auch Berufs- Besitz- und Wohnverhältnisse angegeben. Kurzum, wer über seine Vorfahren Näheres erfahren will, findet dies im Bürgerbuch. Selbstverständlich wurden die Bewohner der Annexe und Höfe, z. B. Frechtentalerhof und Stüterhof, auch erfasst.
Das Ortsregister weist über 800 Siedlungsnamen auf, das Personenregister zählt über 2.300 Familiennamen.
